Being a Bolero Courier is like being an ambassador for customer relations and making sure that the Bolero Holiday environment is kept to an exceptionally clean level throughout the season.
Having skills in home maintenance and DIY is essential to be able to keep our accommodation to the high standard our guests are used to. Being able to provide on-site mobile home / caravan / tent care and repair throughout the season is important to both Bolero Holidays and the guests we welcome.
The Key Points To Know:
1. Being Part of Montage, going out to Union Lido before the season commences and helping to put the Bolero area together (tents, mobile canopies, preparation, tidying the area).
2. Cleaning accommodation to the high standard Bolero is accustomed to.
3. Having good DIY / Plumbing skills and be able to monitor and provide good maintenance skills throughout the season.
4. Making sure Clients are welcomed and given a fond farewell during change over days.
5. Working with campsite managers and liaising with both coach & UK office staff over necessary information.
6. Being computer literate where possible to help with notices, certain documents and possible spreadsheets.
7. Providing certain day events (such as boules) and evening events (such as Quizzes & Barbeques).
8. Being part of De-Montage, after the last season coach has departed (clearing away the tents, washing and folding away mobile canopies, cleaning & tidying up for the winter).
Campsite Children’s Courier
As a kids club courier you will have the same duties as a courier, but your primary role is to the children on holiday. You will be assigned a morning and afternoon slot for kids club in which you are to provide a different activity each day. You will be provided with different items you can use, such as buckets and spades, games and you will be welcome to order more items to help in providing the kids club activities.
Key Points To Know:
1. Morning & Afternoon Activities for normally 2 hours must include a set schedule of events that can be pre-shown to customers via the notice board.
2. Liaising with the campsite managers if you plan on taking the children away from the Bolero Area (Such as to the park or the beach)
3. Making sure all parents are well informed as to what their children will be doing in kids club.
4. Having a mature attitude and a caring attitude to the role of guardian to the children on holiday.
All courier positions are subject to a full police check.
Final points for both positions:
1. You will be given accommodation for the entire season, which includes gas and electricity in one of our fully equipped caravans with awning.
2. You will receive a salary per week.
3. A chance to develop your language skills as well as your confidence.
4. Although the work of a courier is a hard and demanding job, you will find yourself growing as a person and developing skills that will benefit you and provide you with a rewarding life experience.
