Travelling to Union Lido, Italy has never been easier, with flexible dates and arrivals, your route to happiness begins here!

Travelling to Union Lido

From outside of mainland Europe, flights tend to be the most cost effective way to get to Union Lido and the airlines are now gradually expanding to provide more routes to Italy. We know that more and more of our guests are discovering that this form of transport is quick, simple and hassle free. Major UK and Irish companies serving these airports are Jet2, Ryanair, Easyjet, British Airways, and Aer Lingus and the airports for Union Lido are Marco Polo and Treviso.

If you are a little unsure about the internet, we will guide you through the booking process and help identify what you will face when booking a low cost flight so that you are fully prepared for what costs will be involved. We have put together a listing below outlining the available companies operating out to Marco Polo airport and Treviso airport. You can visit their websites directly or combine your airline search using the handy www.skyscanner.net

Airport Transfer Information

You have a few options available. You can either:

Taxi Transfers

We recommend
www.veneziaportaest.com for taxi transfers, as they’ve proved themselves year after year to be a reliable and professional service and you can get an online quote via their website (which can be changed into English). You can google other companies, just try looking on places like tripadvisor.com to see if people have reviewed their services.

Public Transport

The public transport system is very well used, www.atvo.it - You can either get a direct bus that picks up from Treviso Airport, then Marco Polo and runs to Punta Sabbioni (ferry port to Venice) and this bus passes Union Lido en route, so you’d just need to alight at stand 20 on Via Fausta (it will most likely always stop there regardless, but you could ask the driver) - Or is the direct bus does not match with your flight times, you can get a bus from Marco Polo to Lido di Jesolo bus station, or from Treviso airport to Treviso bus station, then one to Lido di Jesolo, then finally a bus going to Punta Sabbioni (again, alighting at Union Lido en route) - This is around 15€ per person each way.

The last option would be to travel into Venice and use the water ferries to navigate across to the ferry port of Punta Sabbioni (would mean 2 different ferry's from memory) www.actv.it is the tickets / timetable website for the water ferries around Venice. At Punta Sabbioni, you’d catch a bus bound for Lido di Jesolo, and alight at Union Lido en route.

Here is a link to the ACTV water ferries website, and independent services ran by alilaguna, and one from Union Lido directly:
